These mortice door bolts are inserted into the door or window frame rather than being surface mounted. This allows them to be concealed and provide an additional point of security. They are easy to install and simple to use. A toothed hole in the lock is operated by a standard star key (supplied), which allows the smooth opening and closing of the bolt.
