Each one chosen from a selection of native species, giving you experience in the turning characteristics of a variety of woods. These blanks will make beautiful platters or shallow thin walled bowls, helping you further your turning skills and knowledge. Each pack contains a mix of six native timber round platter blanks. The mix is chosen from Elm, Beech, Ash, Sycamore, Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Silver Birch, Poplar, White Willow and Spalted Beech. Due to the availability of different timbers at different times we cannot specify the exact contents of each pack. These quality kiln dried blanks are all sourced from our long standing and trusted supplier. Careful quality control ensures our blanks are free of splits or shakes. The edges are waxed to prevent reabsorption of moisture. The variety of species and sizes in the pack can only add to your experience and enjoyment.
