As an added bonus, by adding the optional Internet Gateway anyone with the free App enabled will be kept informed of any activations from the system. Adopting a new split-spectrum sensor technology and a built-in high-volume sounder, our lithium battery-powered smoke alarm responds quickly to smoke while giving a stable performance and low false alarms. Once the surrounding smoke concentration reaches the alarm value, the unit will sound continuously until reset.
