This outlet kit is designed for any garden water storage tank, including water butts, rain barrels, or water tanks. The kit includes an adaptor with a removable nut and washer. To install the adaptor, remove the nut and one washer, insert the adaptor through the prepared hole, and then reattach the washer and nut from the inside, ensuring a tight and leak-free fit. The supplied tap can then be screwed into the adaptor using a small amount of PTFE tape to seal the threads. The tap, made from nickel-plated brass, combines the durability of brass with a shiny, new-looking finish. It also features an easy-turn lever handle. We offer this tap in two sizes: a 1/2" BSP thread, which requires a 21mm hole, and a larger 3/4" BSP thread, which requires a 26mm hole.
