This item functions as an outlet valve specifically crafted for use with water butts or similar water containers. Installation requires a 26mm hole. To set it up, remove the lock-nut and one washer, insert the adaptor through the hole, reattach the washer and locknut, and tighten for a reliable, watertight seal. Once in place, the valve can be easily attached to the adaptor. When the valve is closed, the container can be filled with water. For operation, connect a garden hose with a universal female connector to the valve and use it as usual.
