The VARCA rug comes in pale natural grey beige with off-white double stripes and a hand tied fringed finish with tassels. Lovely and soft under foot, the base material is a finely woven yarn which has been spun from recycled cotton and jute.  You may find small threads of other materials but this is all part of the charm! These lovely products are hand woven on traditional flat looms by skilled artisan weavers.  The result is a simple flat weave rug around half a centimetre in thickness.  This makes them ideal for placement under furniture as well as in an open room.   The rugs are reversible with the same design on each side and they can be rolled up or folded when not in use.  They can be shaken, or spot cleaned and our customers report that the rug can be gently washed in cool water.  There are five sizes to choose from; small, medium, large and a long runner version.  Please note that the rugs may vary slightly in tone and pattern.
