A high speed cyclone separates large dust particles and funnels them into the dustbin. The smaller dust particles are then filtered first through a felt filter, and then a washable foam filter. The final stage of filtration is a high-grade HEPA 13 exhaust filter to capture microscopic dust particles and seal in 99.9% of the dirt and allergens from the vacuum's airstream including pollen, mould, and bacteria.* Helping to keep them out of the air you breathe.
