Delightfully sweet raspberry 'Polka' is a customer favourite and one of the finest autumn-fruiting varieties introduced in recent years. This Polish-bred primocane surpasses its parent, Raspberry 'Autumn Bliss,' yielding up to double the harvest. It offers ripe, large, deep-red berries with an irresistibly sweet flavour from late July through to October. The vigorous, virtually spine-free plants exhibit excellent disease resistance and thrive even in less desirable soils, ensuring a reasonable crop. With up to 2.5kg of luscious berries per plant, 'Polka' is a must-have for your patio, kitchen garden, or wildlife garden. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 4-8 months. Estimated time to best yields: 16-20 months. Expect a mature height of up to 150cm and a spread of 50cm. Supplied as canes, inspected and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture for pests and diseases.
