A polymer-water adhesive is a dispersion adhesive designed for the immediate installation of cork tiles and cladding on interior walls. Physically, it is a blend of mineral raw materials, polymer dispersion, chemical modifying additives, and water. It has the consistency of a thick paste. It bonds and hardens through the evaporation of water from the mortar – this bonding process is irreversible. This is a high-quality dispersion adhesive intended for the immediate installation of cork wall and floor cladding in the form of tiles, panels, and sheets. The product is characterized by adhesion that significantly exceeds the requirements of standards, remarkable flexibility typical of polymer adhesives, and a white color. It can be applied to all stable, typical, dry, primed, and clean building substrates, including plaster, concrete, stone, and wooden/wood-derived and deformable substrates such as gypsum boards (G-K) or OSB, and insulation materials (e.g., polystyrene). The substrate must be even (do not use the adhesive for leveling the substrate), stable, and above all, dry and clean. Irregularities in the substrate should not exceed 2mm over a length of 2m. Apply the adhesive directly from the bucket. Spread it with a notched trowel with teeth sizes ranging from 1-4mm. For thin claddings, a velour roller can be used to apply the adhesive. Press the claddings directly onto the adhesive-coated surface and then press firmly. The adhesive bonds through the evaporation of water, and this bonding is irreversible.
