Papaver rhoeas Supreme is a unique summer flowering poppy which adds real elegance to garden borders. Bred by Thompson and Morgan this variety produces double frilly blooms which range from pink – orange to white. Sun loving this Poppy will flower for twice as long as a traditional annual Poppy making it a popular choice in cottage garden planting schemes. Direct sow Poppy seeds outdoors where they are to grow in spring or autumn. Choose a position in full sun on fertile, well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow seeds thinly, just below the soil surface. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes 7 - 14 days. When Poppy seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to 30cm (12") apart. Product Specifications: Supplied as 1 x seed packet (containing 300 Poppy Seeds) Position: Full Sun Height: Up to 75cm (30in) and Spread: Up to 30cm (12in) when fully established Supplied as Flower Seed - Papaver rhoeas Supreme – Hardy Annual (300 seeds per pack) Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
