Poppy ‘Fruit Punch’ offers ravishing range of silky, ruffled blooms in sensational shades, including vibrant reds, hot pinks, bright oranges and often-elusive plum shades, contrasted by each bloom’s distinctive deep black centre. The lovely, large 12cm (5 inch) blooms are weather resistant, so will not flop, standing tall above strong, dark green clumps of foliage. Bred by T&M's flower breeders, this colourful mix of pretty poppies offers a long-lasting display for your borders and makes a gorgeous a cut flower.Sow 6-8 weeks before the last frost date at 15C (60F) on the surface of good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions and then plant out 30cm (12in) apart.Product specifications:Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 75cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 50cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x packet Poppy 'Fruit Punch' (approx. 40 seeds)Flowering period: May to JuneImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
