Comprising a hardened steel pin complete with a silicone rubber O-ring, suitable for Makita 1/2" square drive impact sockets. The pin passes through the hole in the socket and square drive preventing the socket from becoming detached. The O-ring fits into the groove around the socket preventing the pin from falling out. A simple and effective method.
