PRICKLY PEAR - The Opuntia is also known as the prickly pear or bunny ear cactus. It is a fleshy succulent plant that comes from Mexico. The plant doesn't have spines but does have barbed tiny hairs that will detach very easily. GROWING CONDITIONS - The bunny ear cactus likes to grow in bright direct sunlight and to be watered sparingly. Only water when the top few inches of soil are dry. It is easy to care for, provided it is not over-watered. HEIGHT & SPREAD - This plant can grow to a height of about 0.5-1 metres with a spread of 0-0.1 metres. POT SIZE (SUPPLIED) - This plant will arrive in a 8.5cm plastic growing pot.
