| Surface preparation | All surfaces should be smooth, clean, dry, sound and free from frost, oil, grease, condensation and other contamination. Remove any organic growth with a fungicidal wash as may be necessary. For enhanced adhesion dusty or porous surfaces (such as concrete) it is recommended to prime with NJL Bitumen Primer and allow to fully dry before applying the product. |

NJL Felt Adhesive is a black, cold applied bonding adhesive. It is formulated with a flexible oxidised bitumen to provide excellent adhesion between roofing felt and various roofing substrates such as asphalt, metal, concrete and wood. For an aesthetic finish it can also be used for bonding mineral chippings to bituminous surfaces.
