Once established this exotic climbing variety will produce clusters of fiery red / orange / yellow / white blooms - spectacular and colour changing with up to 12 blooms on each flower spike! The ideal plant for covering a wall / fence or training on to garden trellis. A sun loving plant that is easy to sow and grow! Soak overnight in cold water or file a tiny notch in the seed coat before sowing. Sow seed individually in pots in early spring at 21-24C (70-75F) 6mm (0.25in) deep in a good seed compost, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 10-16 days. Grow on in cooler conditions, and transplant into 13cm (5in) pots. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, once the weather has warmed up. Plant 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny sheltered and warm site in rich, moist soil and provide them with something to climb.
