This item is an MDPE compression fitting designed for use with MDPE water pipes. Made from tough and durable polyethylene, it allows for precise molding, ensuring a leak-free and enjoyable experience. This fitting can be reused. For BSP threads, please note that BSP thread size is not measured across the thread; for example, a 1" BSP thread measures 33.3mm across, so verify your sizing before ordering. To fit this item: Unscrew the end cover and remove the white cone-shaped O-ring. Slide the grey cover onto the pipe with the narrow side facing down the pipe, followed by the white O-ring with the narrow side of the cone facing down the pipe. Push the pipe into the fitting, ensuring the white cone-shaped ring is butted against the fitting. Tighten the end cap and use Stilson grips to secure the fitting.
