Caltha palustris alba (White Himalayan Marigold) are a Kingcup, Marsh Marigold, a marginal plant with kidney-shaped, glossy, dark green leaves. They bear waxy, buttercup-like white flowers and are suitable for streams, ponds, bog gardens and permanently wet places. This hardy, clump forming perennial is less prolific in flower than Caltha palustris, its Golden cousin; but once mature, it reliably produces a second flush later in the year.
