Also known as a Tree Mallow, the compact and well-branched ‘Marshmallow Cherry Blush’ bursts to life through summer and into autumn. Impressive blooms emerge with soft pink, near white petals that darken towards the centre, with a bright eye. Lavatera are hardy and easy to grow, forming good-sized shrubs with headline trumpet flowers. The blooms are rich in nectar, so will attract pollinators. Do not fret when leaves drop across winter as the plant falls dormant, as new growth will emerge in the following March.
