It's important to note that if the base of your existing parasol does not have a cross shaped mounting plate to fit the base mounting bars then you will not be able to use this base. The KCT Parasol Base is the perfect accompaniment to your existing KCT Parasol, or for a parasol you may already own as long as it features a cross bar mounting section. You can attach your parasol with ease thanks to the included metal base plate that comes with the parasol base. simply screw your parasol into the metal base plate frame and then slide the parasol base over the top. Finally, secure the metal frame to the base using the included fittings. The KCT parasol base has the option to be weighted down with a capacity to hold up to 60L of water, ensuring that your parasol remains upright and stationary. You can choose to fill your base with whatever suits you, whether that be liquid or sand. Although our base is designed for most parasols, we recommend that you ensure the weight of the base is holding down your parasol before leaving it unattended, especially if the conditions are windy. Our parasol base also features two rear wheels, as well as some small handles at the front so that you can pick up and wheel your parasol around the garden to choose the perfect relaxation spot.
