An interesting Philodendron hybrid, 'Florida' produces glossy, deep green leaves in a variety of interesting shapes, all on the one plant! ‘Florida’ will keep producing new leaves throughout the winter, which is a rare trait amongst houseplants! The leaf shape depends on light levels, with broader, less lobed leaves being produced in brighter light and more deeply-lobed ones in shade. The lush leaves gradually darken as they mature, whilst the leaf stems have an attractive reddish hue. Philodendron are rainforest natives, thriving in low-light conditions similar to the forest floor. The ability of 'Florida' to adapt to its environment makes it unfussy and easy to grow, so it’s a great choice for beginners or busy plant parents.Place Philodendron in a bright spot, but out of direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves.
