When fully grown Musa Bajoo is the size of a small tree with outlandish leaves. When the weather turns cold you may think your banana tree is dying. Most certainly not. Consider your banana tree as a hardy herbaceous perennial which dies back in the winter and returns in the Spring. When the Spring warmth arrives, your Musa Bajoo will vigorously regrow; keep well-watered at this stage.  Musa Bajoo is believed to be hardy to minus fifteen degrees Celsius, though it is best to mulch or fleece in the winter.
