Description
Greensleeves is self-fertile. It will therefore produce some fruit if planted by itself, but will yield more in the company of a pollinating partner.Greensleeves is also quite an easy apple tree to grow in the garden, being reliable, resistant to the common apple diseases, and not likely to grow as vigorously as a Bramley. The leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby from mid-June onwards. This is not a disease but is mainly due to this year’s contrasting weather conditions and will not affect the performance of the tree.
