Green Beech, is a well known long established native hedging tree. A perfect hedging solution where soil conditions are poor or for very exposed areas, looks superb in a country style garden, but looks elegant within an urban or inner city location. Very hardy and semi evergreen, the leaves in spring and summer are a fresh lush green colour turning a coppery brown in winter, the leaves hang on all winter giving a beautiful crisp display, looking like a scene from a fairytale winter wonderland in frosty weather. Ideal hedging tree to create privacy and can also be used as a windbreak or noise barrier.
