Gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki Yellow' form hardy fruit bushes producing heavy crops of medium sized, greenish yellow fruits. Unlike other varieties, 'Hinnonmaki Yellow' has a delicious aromatic flavour with a hint of apricot. The juicy berries are ready to harvest from June to mid-July and by the second season each bush could produce over 3kg of fruit – great for eating fresh or freezing for use later in the year. Grow Gooseberry bushes in sun or semi-shade. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 4-8 months. Estimated time to best yields: 28-32 months. Height and spread: 120cm. Supplied as an established 2-year-old bareroot plant and ready pruned.
