Moist, fertile & well drained

Self-supporting and yielding a delightful crop of attractive raspberries, Autumn Bliss is perfect for picking fresh or freezing for use in desserts and smoothies. This variety produces large, luscious red berries from late August to mid-October, making it an excellent choice for containers, small gardens, or patios. Supplied as 3 canes x 4 + Large Patio Pot (24 litre) (39cm) & Saucer x 4 Growing Information Plant autumn-fruiting raspberry plants in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Before planting, mix in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost into the planting hole. Space the raspberry canes 60 cm (24 inches) apart in rows. Firm the soil around the plants and water them well. Prune the canes to 30 cm (12 inches) right after planting to encourage the growth of more shoots. Autumn-fruiting varieties do not require support for their stems and can also be successfully grown in large containers filled with soil-based compost, such as John Innes No. 3.
