Fern

Athyrium filix-femina ‘Victoriae’, often called the Queen of Ferns, is a stunning form of Lady Fern. Its fresh green fronds grow in an elegant shuttlecock shape, each featuring slender, skeletal leaflets with tips adorned in a delicate lacy crest. This deciduous fern thrives in shady, consistently moist areas, making it a perfect addition to woodland-style borders where foliage texture and colour take centre stage. Pair it with the linear foliage of Carex or Hakonechloa, or with the rounded leaves of Hostas or Brunnera. Height and spread: 45cm (18in). Supplied as 1 x 9cm potted plant. Please note that plant height and spread vary seasonally, so we list by pot size rather than specific measurements. Arrival images are for reference only. Growing Information Plant Athyrium in partial shade in fertile, moist soil with an acidic to neutral pH. These ferns thrive in soil rich in organic matter, so it's best to add well-rotted manure or garden compost before planting.
