An elegant, evergreen bush or tree, makes an excellent, specimen plant for a mediterranean style garden. Bears long, grey-green leaves and produces fragrant, tiny, off-white flowers during the summer which are followed by edible, green, round fruits. These trees can also be container grown, and are perfect decorative tree to place eithier side of a front door or outdoor stairs. Olives are best planted in sunny, sheltered positions in well drained soil.
