This captivating half-hardy tree adds a touch of elegance to any patio or garden space. This lime tree features glossy, dark foliage that forms a beautiful backdrop for delicate clusters of tiny white flowers, which fill the air with a delightful fragrance. The lime fruits take some time to ripen, up to a year, but the wait is well worth it. Abundant seedless limes are produced, initially green, which eventually turn yellow when left on the tree. Once harvested, these zesty limes can be stored for up to two weeks. Lime trees are capable of tolerating brief periods below 0C, but thrive in large containers, so from autumn to spring move plants indoors to a bright, frost-free spot. Being self-fertile, it does not require a pollination companion. Supplied in a 9cm nursery pot (note: planter pictured is not included)
