50m Gaffer Tape - 48mm Width - WaterproofOverview - Our gaffa tape is constructed from polythene cloth laminate and has strong adhesive properties. It is commonly used in theatre, for film and television production and for any other stage work for securing cables to the stage truss, floor or any other surfaces. It is used because standard tape is not strong enough or would lose adhesion due to ingress of water. Powerful Adhesive – The adhesive used on this tape has high tack and will stick to almost anything with minimal air pockets. It will adhere strongly to most surfaces including metal, concrete, wood, rubber, nylon and plastic. Despite its strength, the tackiness of the tape will allow with some effort peeling later on if desired. Perfect for sticking things down temporarily, particularly cables which, when left free, can cause tripping hazards and may tangle or become damaged. Easy to use – The tape can be neatly ripped along the lines of the tapes fibres, giving you straight, easy to use tape segments without using scissors or blades. Waterproof – Unlike others, this tape is completely waterproof so will not start to peel or lose strength when exposed to the elements. Perfect for temporarily sealing leaks in pipes, water containers, tents and anything else exposed to water or other fluids.
