This airy annual mingles beautifully with tall grasses and summer perennials, softening planting schemes to give a hazy, romantic look. Ammi majus is reminiscent of Cow Parsley – a tall annual producing a froth of delicate white blooms in summer borders. Commonly known as Bishops Weed, its graceful stems rise above ferny foliage – ideal for cutting and for summer bouquets. Its blooms are loved by pollinators and the autumn seed heads attract finches. The Kew Pollinators range of seeds from Thompson and Morgan has been specially created alongside the experts at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to attract and support a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies and beetles, as well as a number of other important pollinating insects. Helping these pollinators to thrive is hugely important for our eco-system as a whole and these seeds, in their striking packaging inspired by artwork from the Kew archives, will help to create the environment which they need to thrive, with varieties chosen to help a wide range of pollinating insects, including some night flowering plants to help moths which also play an important part in our gardens.Product specifications:Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 140cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 50cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x Ammi majus Kew Pollination Collection seed packet (approx.100 seeds)Delivered with growing and care instructionsFlowering period – June to AugustImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
