This Universal Sharpening Kit includes a double sided Waterstone (400/1,000 grit), a Diamond Dressing Stone (240 grit), **** Blade Guide and a Sharpening Stand/storage case. The Kit is designed primarily for sharpening cook's/chef's kitchen **** between 200mm(8") and 300mm(12") supported in the Blade Guide. The Blade Guide clips onto the back of your ****'s blade. It features a ceramic insert on each side, allowing you to sharpen both sides without having to remove the **** from the Guide. The Guide ensures the blade's edge is presented to the stone at the correct angle and helps achieve an even and consistent bevel on each side. The ceramic inserts glide smoothly across stone. Use the 400 grit side of the Waterstone for rapid progress or reforming a bevel. Use the 1,000 grit side for putting a fine edge on your ****. The 240 grit Diamond Dressing Stone helps keep the Waterstone flat and true. The Sharpening Stand ensures that water is contained whilst sharpening is in progress.
