As with all long hole augers, frequent withdrawing will help to clear the waste and reduce the risk of overheating. Dimensions are 880mm overall with 6.5mm shank and a bit diameter of 8mm at the tip tapering to 7.9mm for clearance. Made in Austria from top quality HSS-M2 steel. A worthwhile accessory is the Long Hole Boring Handle (107156) (245 x 35mm) which is available separately.
