This beautiful little hardy perennial is a fantastic addition to a sunny part of the garden, where it will bloom in spring each year with its elegant mauve flowers. It’s downy stems and foliage acts as an additional point of interest and gives it its distinctive fuzzy appearance. Most at home in rockeries or gravel gardens, this RHS AGM variety loves a sunny position with a free-draining soil. A good option for coastal gardens, it also does well in patio containers with a gritty compost mixture, as well as sunny borders with stony soil.Grow Pulsatilla on fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Pasque Flowers resent wet soils, so add some grit to the soil where necessary, prior to planting. Choose a location where they won’t be disturbed as Pulsatilla dislike root disturbance once established. Pulsatilla can be slow to establish and is best left undisturbed.Position: Full Sun Height: Up to 20cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 20cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1 x Pulsatilla vulgaris plant in a 1 litre PotImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
