GIANT ALLIUM BULBS - The Allium Globemaster is a large bulbous herbaceous perennial plant that produces purple flowers from late Spring to early Summer. It produces massive spherical ‘pom pom’ heads, made up of clusters of starry violet purple blooms and are loved by pollinating insects, in particular bees and butterflies. They can grow to over 1m in height and each bloom can measure up to an incredible 20 cm in width. These blooms get bigger and better every year in UK gardens. PLANTING POSITION - These bulbs are great for growing in flower beds and garden borders or also in patio pots to give height to a flower display. These tall plants make a great addition to any planting arrangement and are an excellent accompaniment to low growing plants such as ornamental grasses or herbaceous plants. Allium Globemaster can also be used as cut flowers allowing you to enjoy them in your home and garden.
