LARKSPUR - Delphinium Magic Fountains commonly known as Candle Larkspur is a compact growing hardy herbaceous perennial that produces sturdy spires of intense dark blue flowers with a dark eye in the unusual shape of a bee during the Summer months. GROWING CONDITIONS - This Delphinium can grow in pots, containers and in beds and borders and is ideal for adding height and colour to any planting scheme. It is best grown in fertile, well draining soil in a sheltered area that receives full sunlight. It is a popular plant for cottage and informal gardens but looks great in city and courtyard gardens too. HEIGHT & SPREAD - This clump forming shrub has been bred for its shorter, more manageable growing habit compared to other Delphinium varieties, growing to a height of between 50 and 100 cm. This plant's dramatic flowers make excellent cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy them in your home and garden. POLLINATOR FRIENDLY - During its flowering season of June and July, Delphinium Magic Fountains are highly attractive to butterflies, bees and other pollinating insects.
